A carefully planned strategy and high-quality trainers are a given at LIREN, but it’s still necessary to ensure that your objectives are achieved.
We are aware that effective training only works, if it goes hand in hand with continuous and systematic evaluation.
Because training is an investment, because you have the right to expect tangible results and because these results must be clear and accessible, LIREN attaches utmost importance to the evaluation process.
In addition to standard, quantitative and qualitative assessments, we also offer specific assessments for trainings focused on a specific skill.
Prior to any training, our online test, within an allotted time, allows the levels of learners to be established, according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). There are 21 levels in all:
A0 corresponds to the true beginner and C2.2 to the proficient user.
In addition to our online test, we recommend a ten-minute interview with a trainer in order to test oral proficiency, at the beginning of the course into account.
This cross-checking of information on initial proficiency levels, allows us to form homogeneous groups, which enable effective language acquisition for all participants.
For long-term trainings, the trainer can, on request, provide one or more interim reports on the progress of the course and participants.
At the end of the training, the trainer makes a detailed report on the progress made with respect to each skill (defined in CEFR levels), the attitude and motivation of the participants, as well as post-training advice.
Learners are also invited, by e-mail, to give their feedback, initially after three weeks of starting the training, and finally at the end of the training.
